Darren Mattocks scored a five-timer to lead Bridgeport High to an 8-0 thrashing of Waterford High and into the semi-finals of the ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel Manning Cup Football Competition on a superior goal difference.
Bridgeport and Waterford, along with Eltham High, who defeated Norman Manley 4-2 in the other Group Two encounter at Constant Spring, all ended the second round on six points. However, Bridgeport had a (+6) goal difference compared to Eltham (+2) and Waterford's (-6).

The Anthony Patrick-coached team will now square off against St Andrew Technical High School (STATHS) on Saturday in the first match of a double header at the Habour View Mini Stadium starting 1:00 pm, for a spot in the final. Title holders St George's College will tackle Excelsior High in the feature match of the double header at 3:00 pm.
Meanwhile, trailing the group by three points and needing to beat group leaders Waterford by three clear goals, Bridgeport ended the first half with a 5-0 lead.
Odoah Nikle scored two quick goals in the 21st and 26th minutes after Waterford's custodian Oshane Jones sustained an injury to his right hand in the 10th minute.
Mattocks, who started the day with 18 goals this season, netted the first of his five-timer in the 36th minute, sending the Bridgeport fans into celebration mode.
With news filtering through from Constant Spring that Eltham, who also had a mathematical chance of clinching the last semi-final spot, were leading Norman Manley 2-1, Mattocks scored his second and third of the match in the 43rd and 45th minutes.

The striker, who also represents Premier League club Waterhouse, scored his fourth of the match three minutes into the second half, before grabbing his season-topping 23rd Manning Cup goal in the 60th minute.
"We put in a lot of work on Saturday; two hours on the field and three hours of discussion with them to get them mentally ready," Patrick told the Observer, noting that his players were down following last Friday's shock 0-1 defeat by Eltham.
"We are happy that we are in the semi-finals and looking forward to the match against STATHS on Saturday and once we decide to play again, then we won't have any problem," the coach reasoned.
